C. Student Projects

  • All B Stat students during third year write an independent research paper on a topic of their choice;
  • All BSc QE students do likewise;
  • The M Stat degree is both written-examinations-assessed and it is also based on an MStat Thesis.

D. Computing Facilities

There are two computer laboratories at ISAE, one catering for the undergraduate students (25 PC's) and the other for postgraduate students (15 PC's). All student projects are based on computer-analyzed data. Furthermore, each student is required to word-process their dissertation to ensure that they are absolutely computer-literate by the time they get to the end of their studies at ISAE. Notes: The computers are not networked. There is access to the Internet but utilization is limited to postgraduate research.
